Aston Villa Tammy Abraham Transfer: €21m Offer With Yasin Özcan Could Seal Deal

Aston Villa Tammy Abraham transfer talks

Aston Villa Tammy Abraham transfer talks have taken a decisive step forward, with belief growing that the Premier League club’s latest offer is now enough to convince Beşiktaş.

According to Turkish journalist Fırat Günayer, Aston Villa’s revised proposal represents a “good deal for everyone” involved, with confidence the Turkish club should accept the terms on the table.

Reports from Türkiye suggest Villa have altered their approach by adding youngster Yasin Özcan to the deal, alongside a €21m fee, in a move designed to finally break Beşiktaş’s resistance.

The Villans have been chasing a reunion with Tammy Abraham following the departure of Donyell Malen, and see the former striker as a key addition for the second half of the season.

Earlier bids had fallen short of Beşiktaş’s expectations, with claims the Turkish side wanted a higher cash figure. Rather than increasing the fee, Aston Villa opted for a smarter solution by inserting Özcan into the negotiation.

The highly-rated defender is currently on loan at Anderlecht but has struggled for minutes this season. Crucially, he did not feature for Villa earlier in the campaign, leaving the door open for an immediate return to Türkiye if an agreement is finalised.

According to multiple reports, Özcan has already accepted the switch to Beşiktaş, easing one of the key obstacles in the discussions.

Villa believe the structure of the deal allows them to strengthen now while maintaining long-term squad balance — a strategy similar to previous moves involving outgoing youngsters.

This mirrors approaches seen in other recent deals, including when Aston Villa edged out Fenerbahçe in a separate transfer battle.

Why the deal works for all parties

From Beşiktaş’s perspective, Günayer argues the proposal is hard to turn down. The club would make a quick profit on Abraham, while also reinforcing their domestic squad with a young, motivated defender.

“You’re earning money in just six months, planning for a stronger striker next season, and strengthening your rotation with Yasin Özcan,” Günayer explained. “I hope it happens.”

For Aston Villa, Abraham offers familiarity with the club and the league, reducing adaptation risk during a crucial stage of the season.

While the final decision rests with Beşiktaş, confidence is growing within Villa circles that the structure and value of the bid will be accepted.

The move would also align with Villa’s recent recruitment direction, balancing experience with youth — similar to considerations surrounding other major Aston Villa transfer decisions.

If completed, the Aston Villa Tammy Abraham transfer could be one of the most notable Premier League-linked deals of the winter window, reshaping both clubs’ plans for the months ahead.
